About this blog.

My son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at 24 months. I created this blog to bring meaning to the often-confusing label. Sometimes I have answers. Other times, just more questions.

That is very cool. He's sharp! Charlotte recently surprised me some with math skills I didn't know she had.

What really struck me about your video, though, was Brad's language.

"Is it a 6?" and then he says, "It is a 6!" That is exactly how Charlotte talks on occasion. I think it's echoing the way I've talked to her over the years to elicit responses. Made me wonder if Brad is doing the same thing.

Thanks! I know it's just rote memory. Even so, he really likes numbers. They make him so happy.

Goodfountain, yeah, he always does that question voice, like echoing me sort of. And my goodness, the kid is a speech delayed motor mouth isn't he! Everything is a running dialogue. And mama is so proud.

WOW!! I know that machine probably drive you insane part of the day, but I was quite entertained for 1:03!! He is amazing!! I LOVE the inflection in his voice....... made me smile!

he's so happy! he is so clever! infectious! made me giggle... delightful. thanks for posting that up, its so interesting that his little up and down inflection is so similar to my little boy's. "mummy, is it a ro-bot pet?", "mummy, is this the train-'s knees?"

proud you should be!

I wanted to say that the inflection reminds me of E's too. Seems like there's a consensus here...

thanks, and glad to amuse. I wonder about "prosody" sometimes. I don't think he has asperger-voice (for lack of a better word).
